In July 2021, Würth IT successfully introduced the WF1 financial system in the companies TUNAP Switzerland, Würth Elektronik International CBT, Grass China and Würth Logistics Switzerland. The Step e-business system was successfully implemented at Hommel & Herkules Werkzeuge, Germany.
WF1 stands for the Würth financial accounting system. It is the financial accounting system of the Würth Group. On the one hand, this is part of the Würth System One (WS1) system network, but it can also be used as a financial accounting system in conjunction with other group ERP systems. Here it was stipulated that if national companies invest significantly in existing or new financial accounting systems, that this investment is made in WF1. As a medium-term goal, it should also be possible to simplify and accelerate group accounting. (There are exceptions to this rule for manufacturing companies under certain conditions.)
STEP stands for the central product information management system. Here, all information and media about all products in the Würth Group are centrally collected, compared, systematically updated and translated into many national languages. It is the prerequisite for all eBusiness and app activities, as it provides the digital content and is also used for the distribution of print catalogs.
