PICO - voice assistant for the field service
May I introduce: "Pico"! - the newest member of our data center in Waldzimmer. "Pico" is our digital voice assistant and is currently being developed as a prototype for the field service of Würth GmbH & Co KG Germany.
The job of Pico is to provide the sales representative with important information about customers and products during the trip between customer visits. In addition to providing information, Pico the field service also with administrative activities, such as planning an appointment in the calendar or following up and reworking customer visits. Pico finds it using a specially developed smartphone app Get into the car and automatically lock into the vehicle's audio system.
Using "hotword" detection, the assistant is brought to life by the sales representative and offers his services to the seller. The interaction is completely contactless by means of voice input and output, so that safe participation in traffic is guaranteed. The heart of Pico is a conversation-based chatbot system which learns through daily training and thus better meets the needs of the Field service adapts.
