Made for each other: Würth IT promotes young talent projects
Würth IT GmbH is committed to promoting young talent and supports numerous projects in the process. These include the "Young Researchers" initiative and the regional network "MINT Regional Main Tauber", as well as the Tauber Valley Youth Technology School from 01 September 2023. The company will also be sponsoring the "Creative Minds" competition for schoolchildren from the coming school year onwards, giving talented young people the chance to gain an insight into Würth IT.
Regional network in the STEM field is being expanded
"We want to actively support and encourage young people to develop their curiosity for science and technology. With the help of the initiative, it is possible to facilitate regular workshops and projects that deal with a wide variety of topics from the MINT field," says Würth IT's Young Talents Officer Sabrina Christof. The support chains in MINT education are also to be strengthened as part of the cooperation with the "MINT Regional Main Tauber" network and the Tauber Valley Youth Technology School.
The "Creative Minds" competition as an opportunity for innovative students
The competition is intended to awaken the inventive and explorative spirit of students aged 13 to 19. The participants can then implement project ideas with the support of experts from regional companies. All students from secondary schools in the Bad Mergentheim, Tauberbischofsheim, Wertheim and Neckarsulm regions are eligible to participate.
Iris Lange-Schmalz, the competition manager for the Bad Mergentheim region, is happy about the future educational partnership with the company: 'We are very pleased that Würth IT GmbH is now involved in the Creative Minds competition as a sponsor and will also look after projects. The commitment has a very great added value not only for us as a competition, but also for the students in particular.'
