This year's Welcome Week at Würth IT kicked off on September 1, 2025. A total of 25 young talents, including twelve IHK trainees in three apprenticeships and 13 dual students in five degree programs, were warmly welcomed to the Würth IT family. The Welcome Week focuses on getting to know the new young talents personally and networking with them.

The training team, consisting of Sabrina Christof, Anna-Lena Kreuder and Martina Schmitt, as well as representatives of the Young Talents Representation, ensured that everything ran smoothly and supported all the new young talents in getting off to a successful start.

The week began with the Welcome Day in Künzelsau-Gaisbach, organized as part of the training alliance with Adolf Würth GmbH & Co KG and other Würth Group companies. From Tuesday to Thursday, the week continued at the new Würth IT headquarters in Waldzimmern, before the Welcome Week came to an end at the Bad Mergentheim location.

In his welcoming speech, Christian Berndt, one of the two managing directors of Würth IT, emphasized the importance of the new young talents for the company: "You are enormously important for Würth IT: Your perspectives bring a fresh perspective, speed and ideas. Have the courage to ask lots of questions and scrutinize things - curiosity is the best driver of innovation and collaboration."

Insight into the program

The Welcome Week offered the new young talents a varied and informative program that combined both technical content and team-building activities. Highlights included an exciting tour of the data center, a comprehensive company presentation and training on important topics such as compliance, business etiquette and accident prevention. A joint photo shoot followed by a group picture created lasting memories, while the active afternoon in Waldenburg strengthened the team spirit. The week was rounded off with a presentation of the HR and Finance departments, which gave the participants an initial insight into central company structures.

On Monday, September 8, 2025, all participants started motivated in their respective teams and thus laid the foundation for a successful and instructive professional and academic training at Würth IT.
