Würth IT Anniversary Celebration: 76 Employees Honored for a Total of 1,350 Years with the Company

This year's Würth IT anniversary celebration took place at the Panoramahotel Waldenburg on January 23, 2026. Around 140 people attended in total. These included the 76 employees celebrating anniversaries, their partners, managers and the managing directors. Together, the impressive total of 1,350 years of service to the company was honored.
Ceremonial opening by the managing director
The Executive Vice President IT of the Würth Group, Dr. Thomas Burkhart, opened the evening and focused on the special importance of loyalty and long-term commitment. In his speech, he emphasized: "Our jubilarians stand for reliability, expertise and an attitude that has shaped our company for decades. 1,350 years of service are more than just an impressive number, they tell the story of people who have helped shape and develop Würth IT. I would like to thank each and every one of them for this."
Managing Director Marion Betz then led the guests through the program and accompanied them through the evening with warm and appreciative words. She summarized the special atmosphere as follows: "Every anniversary shows how much personal commitment there is in our everyday lives: the stories, memories and special moments we have heard today reflect the solidarity and extraordinary team spirit at Würth IT. It was a great pleasure to host this special evening."
Honors and laudatory speeches
As every year, the managing directors presented the anniversary certificates and a small gift to all those honored. Employees who have been with the company for at least 25 years also received a personal eulogy from their respective manager: often combined with anecdotes from previous IT projects, special challenges and joint successes.
Long-term loyalty from 10 to 45 years
The 76 jubilarians were honored in 5-year increments from 10 to 45 years of service. This ranges from colleagues who have been part of the organization for a decade to employees who have been with the company for 45 years and have been involved in key stages of IT development.
An evening of appreciation
The anniversary celebration once again provided an opportunity to pay tribute to many years of service, expertise and commitment. In the festive surroundings of the Panoramahotel Waldenburg, it became clear how much experience, commitment and solidarity unites the Würth IT team.
