On July 30, 2025, Würth IT welcomed its new IHK trainees and dual students to this year's Welcome Day. In the festive setting of the Alma Würth Hall in Künzelsau-Gaisbach, the new young talents were welcomed together with their families and were given a foretaste of their upcoming dual studies or training.
The training team and Christian Berndt, one of the Managing Directors of Würth IT, warmly welcomed the future Young Talents and their families. Managing Director Christian Berndt not only introduced the Würth Group and the role of Würth IT, but also offered the guests creative insights into the corporate world of Würth IT - with the help of an interactive quiz.
"The Welcome Day is a matter close to our hearts every year. It is important to us to make the new talents feel welcome and valued right from the start - not only in the team, but in the entire company," summarizes Christian Berndt.
Both the Council of Confidence and the HR officers for Young Talents then welcomed the soon-to-be new arrivals. The first insights into their apprenticeships and degree courses were particularly exciting for the participants - presented by the current Young Talents, who gave first-hand reports in the Alma Würth Hall.
Another highlight was Oliver Huber's presentation on the current renovation of the company headquarters in Waldzimmern and the data center. In an open discussion round, Würth IT trainers from the locations Gerd Mark, Oliver Huber and Thomas Kübler were joined by Christian Berndt and Maria Arnold, international HR managers at Würth IT, to answer questions from the participants.
The Welcome Day ended with a joint barbecue evening in the company restaurant in Gaisbach - a relaxed opportunity for exchange, networking and initial personal discussions.
