On July 29, 2026—before the official start of the training programme—Würth IT welcomed twelve new Young Talents and their families to a Welcome Day in Waldzimmern. The Welcome Day serves as a shared introduction, helping the newcomers become familiar with the company, their colleagues and everyday training life at an early stage.
The young talents will begin their careers across two vocational training programmes and five dual study programmes:
- IT Specialist in Application Development
- IT Specialist in System Integration
- Dual Study Programme in Business Informatics
- Dual Study Programme in Applied Computer Science
- Dual Study Programme in Cyber Security
- Dual Study Programme in Business Administration – International Business
- Dual Study Programme in Business Administration – Freight Forwarding, Transport and Logistics
The new colleagues were welcomed by the Young Talents team and Managing Director Marion Betz, who accompanied the day together with the trainers from the various locations.
“The Welcome Day marks the beginning of a shared journey. We are delighted to welcome so many talented young people to Würth IT and look forward to seeing what we will achieve together,” says Marion Betz, Managing Director of Würth IT.
Abwechslungsreiches Programm zum Auftakt
Nach der Begrüßúng des Young Talents Team stellte Geschäftsführerin Marion Betz das IT-Unternehmen mit einer Unternehmenspräsentation sowie einem interaktiven Quiz vor. So wurde die Neugier auf die kommenden Ausbildungsjahre geweckt.
Im Anschluss begrüßten der Vertrauensrat sowie die Young Talent Representation die neuen Young Talents. Die Young Talent Representation stellte dabei gemeinsame Aktivitäten, bestehende Kooperationen und soziale Projekte vor – und gab damit einen ersten Einblick in das Gemeinschaftsleben bei der Würth IT. Die Ausbildungsberufe und Studiengänge selbst wurden von aktuellen Young Talents präsentiert, die aus eigener Erfahrung berichten konnten.
Louis Huber übernahm die Vorstellung des Firmensitzes Waldzimmern sowie des Rechenzentrums und gab damit eine erste Orientierung über ihren künftigen Arbeitsort. Den inhaltlichen Höhepunkt des Tages bildete eine Gesprächsrunde: Geschäftsführerin Marion Betz sprach gemeinsam mit den Ausbildern Gerd Mark und Thomas Kübler über Ausbildung, Unternehmenskultur und Perspektiven bei der Würth IT.
Abgeschlossen wurde der Welcome Day mit einem gemeinsamen Grillen.
